Written by: Amelia Haslam Smith
Dear First-Time Camper,
You are so brave! I am so proud of you for deciding to come to camp and try a new adventure. Here is some advice for your first time at camp from the Camp Director. We’re SO glad you’re coming to camp!
· Be proud of yourself! You are doing something new and that takes courage.
· Use the packing list so you know you have everything you need for camp (but don’t worry, if you forget something we have extra supplies and will make sure you have what you need!)
· Think of a goal you would like to accomplish while at camp, and share that with your parent/guardian, counselor, or a friend and try to accomplish your goal!
· Get excited for some really fun activities to participate in!
· Be ready to make some great new friends J
· Wear sunscreen, bug spray, and drink water!
· Take care of yourself and ask for what you need
· Try something new!
· Be exactly who you are while you’re at camp, Camp Aranzazu is a place to be yourself and feel at home!
· HAVE FUN!
We are so excited that you’re coming to Camp Aranzazu — get ready for the best week ever!
