You probably remember your first time going away to camp: the excitement of sleeping away from home, the freedom of screaming a silly song around the campfire, the pride of hearing your friends cheer your bullseye during archery. Camp Aranzazu is this camp experience, for everyone, regardless of ages or abilities.

Campers like Isaac, who finally conquered kayaking without taking a dip in the pond last summer, find empowerment instead of barriers. He told the Camp Aranzazu team, "It made me feel powerful -- that I could do that."

Your past support of Belles & Shells has helped make such special moments possible for campers from organizations right in our community like Autism Community Network, Be An Angel, Epilepsy Foundation of Central & South Texas, Respite Care of San Antonio, Texas Foundation of Hope, and Vibrant Works.

We can't think of a better cause to make time for and hope you will continue your support of these campers at the 8th annual Belles & Shells on January 21, 2026. We are thrilled to celebrate the nostalgia of camp at San Antonio Trap & Skeet with an afternoon of friendly competition and a lively party featuring delicious bites by The Argyle, live music by The Texases, raffles, and a silent auction. Next year's event will be even more special as we celebrate Camp Aranzazu's 20th anniversary of accredited camping.

Bring your best aim (or just your best attitude), and let’s make it a day to remember—all to make possible a joyful, empowering experience for San Antonio's children with disabilities and medical conditions!
