Join the Camp Aranzazu Team
Be the best part of camp for our campers!
Camp Aranzazu is a unique, bayfront camp on the Texas Gulf Coast that offers campers of all ages and abilities the classic summer camp experience year-round.
With your help, campers with physical, mental and emotional challenges can take part in arts and crafts, sailing, archery, bird watching and more on a beautiful and fully accessible residential campus built for everyone’s exploration and enjoyment.
Working at Camp Aranzazu is more than a job—it’s an experience that shapes you.
Here, professional growth happens naturally as you take on new challenges, learn adaptive approaches, and collaborate with a team that believes in the power of “can.” You’ll spend your days in a coastal environment that nurtures both campers and staff, building skills you’ll carry far beyond camp. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a mission-driven community where every effort contributes to creating belonging and joy for campers of all ages and abilities.
For our full-time staff, here’s a preview of some of the benefits we provide. A comprehensive list will be provided during the recruiting process.

Employee Benefits
We cover 100% of employee medical insurance, with options to add dental, vision, and additional life insurance. Employees may also choose to extend coverage to their spouse or family at their own cost. For those enrolled in our HSA-eligible plan, we provide a monthly contribution to support future healthcare needs.
Staff enjoy ample PTO that grows with tenure, plus major holidays to rest, recharge, and spend time with loved ones.
While much of our work happens on-site at camp, some administrative positions offer hybrid flexibility. Depending on the role, team members may split time between camp and remote work. This approach helps balance the needs of our campers and community with the realities of modern work.
After six months, you can participate in our 401(k) plan, with a 3% employer match to support your long-term financial wellbeing.
We support families with paid parental leave for birth, adoption, or foster care—plus flexible options to use PTO to extend time at home. Bereavement leave ensures you have space to grieve when you need it most.
From stipends for training and conferences to staff retreats and book clubs, we invest in your growth and encourage ongoing learning in your area of expertise.
Play where you work: staff can use camp property (with guidelines), join annual retreats, and enjoy the unique rewards of a mission-driven workplace surrounded by nature and connection.
